We welcome Pastor Steve Scharnell to New Hope UCC as our new pastor. Pastor Scharnell resides in Oconomowoc with his wife Angie. They have two children, Jon (28) and Sarah (25). Pastor Steve brings 10+ years of experience in ministry and a passion for reaching and serving the unchurched through the unconditional love of Jesus Christ. With his natural passion to seek and serve the needy, oppressed, and lost, along with his practical experience, he shares a vision for making the church as well as the community a welcoming place for all. In addition to his pastoral calling he enjoys cooking, reading, watching Antiques Roadshow, and enjoying God’s creation from the back of his Harley.
